A blood test (Gold Top Vacutainer) to screen for Down Syndrome between 15-20 weeks of pregnancy using maternal age and four blood markers (AFP, BhCg, Oestriol, Inhibin). If the risk is more than 1:150, further testing such as NIPT or amniocentesis is advised. Detection rate 75%, false positive rate 1:30.
