Anti-D (RADDP) Injection
Rhesus negative women are advised to have an anti-D injection (RADDP) in the third trimester to prevent the development of antibodies which could cause haemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN) which causes anaemia and jaundice in the baby. This can be arranged free of charge through your own hospital for NHS patients.
