DRVVT (Lupus Anticoagulant)
DRVVT (Lupus Anticoagulant) blood test (Four Blue Top Vacutainers – analysed or frozen by lab within 4-6 hours) to screen for Lupus Anticoagulant which is one of the causes of Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APLS). The test is usually repeated twice at least 6 weeks apart. This may be important as a risk factor for miscarriage, poor placental function and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).
