Newborn Screening Pulse Oximetry (Cardiac Screen)

A simple non invasive test (pulse oximetry) as a screening test for newborn babies which uses light sensors to measure oxygen levels in the hand and feet. It is used to screen for cardiac defects and some other conditions within a few days of birth.
