    Quad Test

    Quad Test is a maternal blood test (Gold Top Vacutainer) to screen for Down Syndrome between 15-20 weeks of pregnancy using maternal age and four blood markers (AFP, BhCg, Oestriol, Inhibin).

    If the risk of Down Syndrome is more than 1:150, further testing such as Panorama (NIPT) or amniocentesis is advised.

    Detection rate 75%, false positive rate 1:30.

    Note: The Panorama NIPT Test is much more modern accurate and screens for Down Syndrome, Edward Syndrome, Patau Syndrome and other genetic conditions.
