Recurrent Miscarriage Complete Package

A series of batches of blood tests looking for ALL of the haematological male and female risk factors for recurrent miscarriage. Some couples may choose not to have chromosome or genetic testing which reduces cost by £900.

Male: 1 Green Vacutainer (Chromosomes)

Female:

FIRST BATCH Female : 3 Purple, 3 Gold, 3 Blue, 1 Green Vacutainer

SECOND BATCH Female : 3 Gold (day 2-6 of cycle)

THIRD BATCH Female : 2 Gold, 2 Blue, repeat LA/ACA/B2GP after 6 weeks

Profile includes:

1) Chromosomes (patient and partner karyotype) – some couple may choose not to have these tests.

2) FSH & LH & DHEAS & Testosterone & SHBG & Free Androgen Index & Prolactin (day 2-6 of menstrual cycle)

3) T4 & TSH & Anti Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (thyroid function and thyroid antibodies)

4)HbA1C: Provides a measure of average blood sugar control over the preceding 2–3 months and may help identify diabetes or pre-diabetes.

5)Coeliac Screen: Screens for coeliac disease, which may be associated with infertility, recurrent miscarriage and adverse pregnancy outcomes.

6) Lupus Anticoagulant and Anticardiolipin Antibodies (APLS Syndrome)  and B2 Glycoprotein. please note that both will need to be repeated 6 or more weeks later and this is INCLUDED in price

7) Extended thrombophilia screen to include MTHFR, Factor V Leiden, Prothrombin 2 Mutation, Protein C, Protein S, Antithrombin III.
